Last nights busy bee was another productive afternoon with a field of corn planted along with peas a lettuce and others. Many thanks to all those who have gotten the garden to this point, its really starting come together and looks great.

Composting Workshop
The composting workshop was a great success and a fun day with the outcome that we now have three composting bays in the community garden along with two worm farms and participants all learned a bit more about how to compost and maintain worm farms.

A visit to the Walpole Community Garden

Not sure where we are? The Manjimup community garden is located in the timber park towards the north east corner of the park behind the historic Hamlet area and the vehicle shed

Walking around the corner of the vehicle shed you will see the community garden

So far we have setup some garden beds but we still need to raise more funds for our water tank before we go to far.

We also have some areas we have to clean up so we can maximize the use of our garden area
