At present the Manjimup Community Garden group are preparing an agreement with the Manjimup Farmers Markets who have agreed to auspice us. As we are not incorporated at present, we require such an arrangement to allow us to enter into a lease as well as for us to arrange insurance.
Once we have finailised this arrangement we will apply to lease an area which has already been agreed upon within the Manjimup Timber and Heritage Park and once this has been approved by the Manjimup Council we will be able to begin looking at site works. However before we start site works we will be holding a workshop to further refine the aim and layout of the community garden. Stay tuned for details of the workshop and more or come along to one of our meetings.
